The Lifecare Children & Women Empowerment Initiative (LCCWEI) had a successful outing on Monday, July 18, 2022. The organization visited all the students under the LCCWEI out-of-school scholarship program as well as visitation to their homes. The mission was to pay their school fees and assess how they are progressing in their academics during the third term. The home visits were meant to assess the children’s home welfare and supply some foodstuff to the families. Each family was supplied with 3 cartons of indomie nodules as part of the organization’s palliative intervention.
It is the LCCWEI’s mandate to enhance the well-being of the struggling families in wards in addition to paying children’s school fees. Families with struggling businesses are also boosted financially to see that they run smoothly and can cater to their daily basic needs. The Ashwel family was granted financial aid to boost the plantain business. Mrs. Ashwel gave a positive account of how the financial aid has helped her business to grow. She is now able to support her bedridden husband and feed their children. This is a motivation for the organization as the dream of impacting lives is becoming a reality.
Additionally, the organization, in an effort to comply with the local authorities, has been awarded a certificate of operation by the Nigerian government under the CAC. LCCWEI now has a tax identification number certificate. The steady progress will see the bigger vision of the organization come true for the love of humanity.
