LifeCare Initiative partnered with the Child Protection Network (CPN), Ikeja Division, Lagos State, in celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child 2025. The campaign, themed “The Girl I Am, the Change I Lead,” inspired hundreds of young girls to stand for equality, education, and empowerment.
LifeCare Initiative was honored to join the Child Protection Network (CPN), Ikeja Division, Lagos State, to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child 2025.
This year’s campaign, themed “The Girl Child Matters,” brought together schools, educators, community leaders, and partner organizations to raise awareness about the rights and well-being of girls. The event encouraged girls to speak up, dream boldly, and recognize their worth in society.

Throughout the day, students held advocacy placards with messages like “Educate a Girl and You Educate the Future” and “No to Child Labor.” The atmosphere was filled with hope and determination, reflecting the shared belief that empowering girls creates stronger, healthier communities.
At LifeCare Initiative, we believe that when a girl is educated, protected, and given equal opportunity, the entire community thrives. Our programs continue to focus on creating safe spaces, promoting child education, and equipping girls with the tools they need to reach their full potential.
We’re deeply grateful to the Child Protection Network and all partner organizations who share this vision. Together, we’re shaping a future where every girl can learn, lead, and shine.
