The month of love is upon us, and it is great to see such positivity in the air about love. Despite the challenges that may accompany human relationships at large, sharing love is such a beautiful thing. Valentine’s day is primarily celebrated worldwide, emphasizing romantic partnerships, but I believe we can all agree that everyone could use a little more love. This month, we can choose to extend love to those surrounding us, including our family, friends, and the community at large.
Spread the love through your donation
While working with communities, particularly children, it is essential to ensure they experience some things earlier on in life. Creating a lasting impact on the children and with the children may involve engaging them in activities that extend love. Creating cards together to share amongst themselves or with other people may be a great way to start. Also, sharing a memorable valentine’s meal may be another way that we could use to engage children to learn the art of spreading the love this month. And the biggest of them all may be having a Love Project for the month. A love project may entail engaging them in community service for those around them during the weekend. Whichever way we opt to show love, it is important that we remember even a little goes a long way.
