In our daily lives, there is something that pushes us towards a better tomorrow. It could be the people around us, our families, friends, careers, and so on. At least there is something that motivates certain moves in everyone’s life. This is true in almost every aspect of life. Everyone has someone or something that they look to for inspiration. People get inspiration from books, friends, mentors, parents, teachers, society, and the list goes on. In most cases, we seek inspiration to be better or do good. Parents strive to be good role models to their children so that they can inspire them to be better people in their future.
As a founder of an NGO (Lifecare Children & Women Empowerment Initiative (LCCWEI)), I am inspired by the great men and women who work so hard to see that the less privileged and marginalized people can sustain their living. The WHO is a true inspiration that champions health and a better future for all. Doing good to others and empowering them to have a better future is not just like any other normal activity, it calls for passion, dedication, and true love. I was inspired to start by helping a few families that I could but the call grew stronger and the organization expanded to support more children, women, and the elderly in some remote areas in West Africa.
The call to serve society and empower women and children while supporting the elderly is an aftermath of inspiration to do good. Despite the challenges that come along such as inadequate volunteers and well-wishers, the organization is determined to reach out to a larger number of the less privileged people and impact their lives positively. The organization desires to be a catalyst for positive change. Since its beginnings, LCCWEI has been driven by the same ideas of support, empowerment, and progress.
