LifeCare made contacts with three schools on February 4, 2021, and identified eight families who may need our scholarship program for out-of-school children. The eight families were located in four local government areas of Lagos State, around Baruwa Ipaja, Alimosho, Egbeda, and Iba. Among the families were single mothers, widows, and abandoned children. Each of the families involved was examined and a need assessment program was conducted with them with the assistance of our counselors. LifeCare provided psycho-social support and counseling to help them stabilize in their homes. LifeCare will continue to provide support to families.
